On the road AYM A readers response to On the Road, by Langston Hughes. My head start response to this short story was very confusing, Is the root talking about heaven and hell? After interpretation material the story again and listening to a configuration discussion, I realize the story is about racial discrimination. Im move with the creation of typic images Hughes uses to portray his views on racism. I feeling that two situation emblems are very significant to this story. The first significant symbol is the stone-cold, snow-covered snow. Hughes repetition of the cold, snow portrays his views of the white order of magnitude.
